Periop 101 OR Nurse Development Program
The Periop 101: A Core Curriculum™ is the premier education program for RNs entering the perioperative specialty. It fully prepares nurses with consistent, current information in our virtual zoom classroom, online modules, and clinical experience with a preceptor to reinforce what they have learned. This 14-week AORN program consist of 27 online learning modules, textbook content, skills-based labs, and a clinical preceptorship. A few of the ASC-specific modules focus on wound closure, endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, sterilization and disinfection, surgical instrument safety, and aseptic techniques.
