Do you have an interest in working in the Operating Room? Do you prefer the technical and hands on part of the medical and surgical industry? Pacific Surgery Center is offering on-the-job training to become a Surgical Technician.
Pacific Surgery Center is a multi-specialty Surgery Center offering a learning experience in many specialties such as: ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, Plastics, GI Endoscopy, Pain Management, Podiatry and more. You will never be bored and every day brings a new challenge and experience. The Operating Room is a fast-paced environment that offers opportunities to work with new and advanced technologies and work alongside some of the best Surgeons and Nurses in our community!
The program will be a robust 18-week training program consisting of virtual modules, self-guided study, and hands-on labs in our Surgery Center. You will be assigned an experienced preceptor who will help ensure that you are meeting the requirements needed to be a highly trained professional working in the Operating Room.

Periop 101 OR Nurse Development Program
The Periop 101: A Core Curriculum™ is the premier education program for RNs entering the perioperative specialty. It fully prepares nurses with consistent, current information in our virtual zoom classroom, online modules, and clinical experience with a preceptor to reinforce what they have learned. This 14-week AORN program consist of 27 online learning modules, textbook content, skills-based labs, and a clinical preceptorship. A few of the ASC-specific modules focus on wound closure, endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, sterilization and disinfection, surgical instrument safety, and aseptic techniques.
